Help Build the Mark West Area Community Park

The Park

With your donation (DONATE HERE), this one-acre empty lot in the heart of the Mark West Area, located at 4614 Old Redwood Highway, will once again welcome the laughter of children and gathering of family, friends and neighbors. Reborn as the new Mark West Area Community Park, this open space will become the heart and hub of our community.

Construction starts!

We have begun building our park! First the Saba Foundation playground, fitness station, benches, picnic tables and walkway! See our construction schedule below for more details.

  • Who will be the owner of the park and who will pay to maintain it? The Mark West Area Community Fund (a nonprofit) will own and maintain the park. It will be a “private” park for the use of the Mark West Area community.

  • Will there be bathrooms? There will be no bathrooms.

  • How do we get ongoing information about the park? There is a way to sign up (subscribe) to a newsletter on the website. See bottom of this page.
